News UK is to relaunch The Sun branded ‘Sunemployment’ website in time for its annual summer roadshow which kicks off on 1st July in Cardiff. To celebrate, Sunemployment has added over 60,000 new jobs onto the website.

The website has been redesigned to include new features that will enhance the service for recruiters and job seekers. With over 100,000 registered users already signed up, the relaunched website will provide a refreshed online service for companies looking to attract hard-to-find skilled candidates across a broad range of industries including sales, retail, customer service, construction and engineering.

Companies and recruitment agencies will be able to creatively display their job adverts using a range of new advertising formats across the website. Other new features include real-time updates for job seekers and making the website compatible across all digital platforms including mobiles and tablets.

The Sunemployment website will also be promoted via its Twitter handle @sunemployment using a social media campaign called #sunemployme. Recruiters and job hunters will be encouraged to post tweets when they’ve successfully found their dream job or candidate.

Simon Farnfield, Team Manager for News UK’s Recruitment & Education department commented: “Our Sunemployment brand has been a huge hit amongst recruiters and job seekers and has already helped more than 70,000 people into work. We took the decision to relaunch the Sunemployment website to make it an even more powerful recruiting tool.”

The Sunemployment roadshow, taking place on the 1st July across 5 cities in the UK, is a chance for job-seekers to hear from senior business executives. Some of Britain’s biggest companies including Tesco, Ann Summers and Barclays will be giving expert advice to job seekers on a panel hosted by Jeremy Kyle and Michelle Dewberry.
