From 19th May 2011, the Incisive Media job board began using QR codes in the recruitment adverts running in Post Magazine. The initiative is expected to further increase response rates on vacancies as it provides the jobseeker with an additional method of applying for jobs.

Once the code is scanned by a smartphone using a QR code reader app, it can take the candidate to any specific vacancy on the mobile site powered by Madgex. The functionality of the mobile site allows the candidate to apply for jobs immediately providing they have registered their details and CV on the desktop version of The concept is being rolled out across the other Incisive Media job boards beginning with in the 26th May issue of Legal Week.
