September’s record month saw an 11.2% increase year on year, and follows the re-launch of the site in March 2011. The streamlined sign-up functionality, and improved use of technology to match visitor skills to jobs, has increased traffic to the site and helped to steadily boost visitor numbers.
September also saw the highest week ever for job applications with an average of 13.9 applications per vacancy, against an industry average of 6 applications per vacancy. The success of Drapersjobs.com strengthens EMAP’s belief that specific job sites engage communities through relevant content, and demonstrates their potential to target the right audience and achieve strong results for advertisers.
